Why do I need a Yumalite?
A balance of sunlight hours is optimal for our health. In the perfect world we would have 12 hours of dark and 12 hours of natural light but that is not the case in northern countries. Summer is fine. In Denmark the summer solstice in June comes with 17:15 hours of sunlight. The winter equinox, however, which is the shortest day of the year, has only 6:44 hours of natural sunlight. The days leading up to December 21 and coming after do not provide enough natural light that the circadian rhythms of our body demand. Many people need to replace sunlight with a natural source of light in order to feel balanced and in a positive mood. A visor light with both red and soft white light near your eyes is a convenient and safe way to replace sunlight in the winter months.
